Five days ago, our fellowship of eight drew on our vintage shoes and embarked upon an epic quest. Armed with pencils in hand, this imaginative crew gallantly created worlds in which we swam with mermaids. After a long day chasing submarines, we made landfall and watched the sun set over the ocean. We stopped to smell the flowers as we made our way inland. We built epic fortresses, and defended them against fire-breathing dragons and an army of robots. From the forms of these robots, we built starships which took us across the Milky Way, and brought us safely home. Although this drawing lesson has ended, we proudly reflect upon our accomplishments. We look forward to our many adventures to come.
This group ranged from kindergarten students to senior citizens. Regardless of their ability levels upon entering, each was able to expand upon their artistic understanding. With hard work and dedication (and of course a healthy dose of fun and imagination), anyone can learn to draw!
Ultimate Color Theory – Acrylic paint. Learn how colors interact with each other and with the human psyche.
Wide Open Spaces – Soft chalk pastels. Learn to draw landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, and even outer space!
